Ways I support your family

Birth support

$1,600

I help you get ready for labor, then stay by your side with comfort, encouragement and a calm presence. I'm there for emotional and physical support, not medical care, so you can feel more at ease.

Postpartum support

$50/hr

Those first weeks at home can feel like a lot. I offer practical help and a listening ear so you can rest, recover and settle in with your baby.

Overnight newborn care

$60

Nights can be the hardest part. I care for your baby overnight so you can get some sleep, and I'm there to answer questions as they come up.

Lactation support

$50

Feeding your baby can take patience and practice. I offer non-medical support, encouragement and a calm presence while you find what works for you and your baby.

Sibling preparation

$50

A new baby is a big change for older kids too. I help you think through ways to get siblings ready and make room for their feelings.

Hi, I'm Lori

I'm Lori, a birth and postpartum doula serving families in Gig Harbor, WA. I became a doula because I care deeply about giving loving, compassionate support through birth and beyond. To me, that means being steady, kind and paying attention to what you actually need. I believe everyone deserves to feel safe, heard and supported, in labor and in the tired, tender weeks after. Whether you want help preparing for birth, a calm presence at night with your newborn, or someone to help your older kids get ready for a new sibling, I'd love to hear what you're hoping for.

What I promise.

I'll show up with loving, compassionate care. I'll listen to what you want, encourage you when things feel hard, and support the choices you make for your family.

How I work.

Gentle, steady and free of judgment. I don't bring a script. I get to know you first, then shape my support around your family, your values and what you're hoping for.

Why families choose me

You want someone you can trust when things feel big. I care about making you feel safe and heard, from the first call on.

I offer birth support, postpartum support, overnight newborn care, feeding support and help getting siblings ready. That means you don't have to find a different person for each stage. You can lean on someone who already knows your family, your wishes and what helps you feel calm.

Expecting? I'd love to hear from you.

Tell me a little about your due date and what kind of support you're looking for. We'll talk it over with no pressure.

Care that stays with you
